My almost 3 year old has a tough time getting his hair cut, as I'm sure a lot of kids his age do. I was thrilled to see a new kids salon open up in the Lansing area a couple of months ago. The pictures online looked magical. Bright colors, toys and cool little cars for the kiddos to sit in. I had to check it out! The experience was even better than I anticipated. The owner, Kelsey, is a gem. She's friendly, positive and did such an amazing job engaging my son. She made his haircut fun! So much fun, actually, that he didn't want to leave. This place is adorable. I cannot wait to bring my daughter back for a manicure and pedicure! Oh and his hair? Perfect!

Hi everyone! My name is Kelsey Simpson. I created a kids salon and mini spa so that children up to the age of 16 can experience hair and nail care services in an atmosphere that is more inviting and comfortable. Often times children go into a salon, and have a less enjoyable experience during a haircut. Here at The H&M Clubhouse we aim to give a great haircut and nail service while making it fun for your children!
We understand kids have shorter attention spans, so we aim for a quality service in a time frame that works for them. Patience is everything in our salon. At The H&M Clubhouse the kids can converse with their stylist. We are interested in what they like, and we enjoy engaging in conversation with them. We have a fun atmosphere, toys to play with and our car seats are a hit!
Our services are just as those in a grown ups salon! The only differences between salons is that we don't use dremels or do acrylics, and our pedicure services are done out of a bucket ensuring proper sanitation. Our salon aims for a safer experience all the way around!
We are open Monday and Wednesday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. We are closed on Tuesday and Sunday. However, Tuesday appointments are available for just teens and parents!
